1. Products
1.1 Why are some products separated by size? (Youth 6.5-7)

We are a small business located in Ottawa, Ontario where there are HST rules surrounding "children's tax". Ontario deems shoes, and footwear youth size 6 and below as children's items, but footwear that is a youth 6.5 or more like a normally taxed item. This means all footwear on the website that is a youth 6 or lower only has a 5% sales tax and all adult footwear and big youth sizes are taxed at the full 13% tax. We know that they're still children's shoes but unfortunately, we have to comply with the province! The products are separated to make the taxes easier on our side - thank you for understanding!

1.2 Do you carry more/different products in the store?

Yes! We carry more brands in-store, if you are looking for something specific please contact [email protected] as we may be able to find what you are looking for and ship it out to you regardless!

1.3 How do I know the correct size to purchase?

Please consult Stride Rite's printable measuring chart! Printing this measurement guide will allow you to measure your child's foot from home. Alternatively, if you measure your child's foot with a ruler or send photos to our email we will do the work for you and let you know what size we recommend for each specific shoe. We generally suggest sizing slightly larger than your child's foot to ensure room for growth. 2. Shipping
2.1 How long will it take to receive my order?

Our website runs on live inventory, so when you order an item we have it! After placing an order, please allow 1-3 business days to process the order. At this time we will send you confirmation of your shipment including a tracking number. You will be able to track your shipment online via the Canada Post Website. 

Please allow 2-3 business days for shipments to arrive within Ontario.

Please allow 3-5 business days for shipments to arrive outside of Ontario.

*Please note that due to the present COVID-19 situation, Canada Post is experiencing significant shipping delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time, we are doing our best to get all of your products to you!*

Please note: for orders that contain multiple items you may receive each item separately, on separate dates. This will not affect your shipping costs.

2.2 I selected "In-Store Pickup", when will my order be available?

Once we have received and processed your order we will send you an email once your product is available for pick-up. This can take up to 3 business days if the item is in our warehouse. However, in most cases, your item will be available for pickup within 1 hour to 1 business day!

2.3 How can I cancel or change my order?

Orders can be changed or cancelled prior to receiving your shipment confirmation email.

To cancel or change an order, simply email [email protected] with your request.

2.4 Do you ship outside of Canada?

At this time we are not able to offer shipping outside of Canada. We ship to all Canadian provinces and territories.
